Look for big plays from the Texas Special Teams. The better QB is without a doubt under center for Texas. Winning the Heisman Trophy is a huge jinks for the recipient in bowl games and is a hurdle to clear for the Tide if you follow those kinds of statistics.
The history of both programs is very impressive.
I liked Bama a week ago but I am starting to waver. My heart wants the burnt orange but the longhorms have only faced a real defense twice this year in OU and Neb. Bama has had a much trougher road to travel.
Look for a low scoring game in the first half. The horns will have a few big plays but nothing will go all the way. After half time the speed will balance out and the Tide will roll with no turnovers, a few take-aways and a power game on the ground. A fourth quater pick-6 seals it for SEC. Again.

You ended low on the score and not for the reasons stated above. Who knew that in the first Q that the Longhorn QB would be out for the game! At the end of the game, he said - my arm doesn't hurt...I can't feel it! Not good.
